Check the original failure and the legitimate behavior that must still work.
Retesting begins with the original evidence and the intended access rule. Verify that the reported behavior no longer occurs under the agreed reproduction conditions.
Also test the authorized path. A fix that blocks every request may remove the demonstration while breaking a legitimate workflow. Record both outcomes and the version tested.
