Evidence that makes remediation clearer
1 min readDemo article
Connect reproduction steps, observed behavior, and expected behavior in one finding.
A useful finding describes a boundary that failed, the conditions needed to reproduce it, and the impact demonstrated in the agreed scope. Keep assumptions separate from observations.
Video proof should complement written steps. Use synthetic data and redact tokens before evidence leaves the test environment. A recording without context can be difficult to reproduce.
A compact evidence record gives the remediation team a starting point for its own regression test. The following mock structure contains no actual client data.
