Reading a cloud role through its trust boundaries
1 min readDemo article
Review who can assume a role alongside what the role can do.
A role review has two questions: which identities can obtain its permissions, and which resources those permissions cover. Read those relationships together rather than treating the permission list as a complete picture.
Build a small inventory of the workflows that need the role. Compare that inventory with the allowed resources and operations, then validate proposed changes in a controlled environment.
